A foundation year within a four-year degree

A foundation year is an introductory year within the listed four-year degree route. Our catalogue includes these routes in business management, business management and sustainability, and allied health and social care. Contact us for further course information.

A two-year foundation degree: the FdA

An FdA is a foundation degree. The listed Business Management and HRM courses last two years and combine one campus day with one online day. They are not the same thing as the first year of a four-year degree with foundation.

Progression to a top-up is not automatic

The FdA rows name a BA top-up as a possible progression route. That does not guarantee admission or mean a top-up is automatically included in the two-year course. Contact us for course information and further information; confirm costs and funding separately.

The one-year top-up routes

The listed top-ups last one year. Digbeth lists Business Management with the University of Staffordshire; Leicester lists Business Management with Birmingham Newman University. Edmonton Green lists a BA Top Up without a subject. Confirm the exact title and final award for the route you are considering.
